Our Standard

We are committed to ministering with integrity and the highest standard of excellence. We are determined to embrace every person where they are with the greatest level of dignity and respect.

Our Responsibility

Jesus gives us the purpose of the church in what is known as the Great Commission. There He states:

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,

and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things

whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20 KJV)

Mission Statement

Springfield Missionary Baptist Church is a Christ-Centered, biblically based, spiritually led Church, that meets the needs of the total person by: Reaching the Lost, Reviving the Weak and Restoring the Fallen through administrative excellence by the power of the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our Mission is to be a model church that: Exalts the Savior, Evangelizes the Sinner, Edifies the Saints and Encourages every Soul.

Our Core Values are: Scripture, Discipleship, Maturity, Relationships, Excellence, Worship, Prayer, Giving, Serving and Outreach.

  • Theologically speaking, a Christian is someone who has received the Lord Jesus as Savior (John 1:12), trusts Him alone for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 4:12), has put no trust in his own efforts (Isaiah 64:6) to please God, and repented from his/her sins (Mark 1:15).

  • Salvation is the transformation of a person’s individual nature and relationship with God

as a result of repentance and faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ on the cross. All

humanity stands in need of salvation which is only possible through faith in Christ Jesus.

Believers are saved by grace through faith for good works (Ephesians 2:8-10).
